Develop new and evaluate existing automated nursery technologies to improve labor use efficiency.

SOCIOECONOMICS (SE)

Increase the adoption of automation and technology (ANT) in the US nursery industry through the development of socioeconomic information and tools to help firms make informed decisions about automation adoption.

OBJECTIVE 3


BEHAVIORAL ADOPTION OF AUTOMATION & TECHNOLOGY (BA)

3.A. Develop routes to ANT adoption for firms in DOI categories.
3.B. Map growers' information-sharing networks that accelerate adoption for those connected.

Assess consumer knowledge and preference for potential impacts of automation and technology (ANT) in nursery production.
